I think I have made up my mind and am gonna go with the act six puck setup
I wanna know if this is a good price and if anyone has used this company before????

TD:ACT Heavy Duty Solid 6 Puck Race Clutch Kit - 03-05 Dogde Neon SRT4 2.4L Turbo

Edit
I just realized this is "unsprung" does it make a big difference whether I get it sprung or un sprung???

keep in mind you still need the flywheel if you get that company's package. Personally, I would order from THmotorsports here on the board. They are running a special and shipping is free.

You can search around for the difference between sprung and unsprung.

very good choice on the clutch, i love mine.

Like he said, PM THMotorsports for a price as well, that's where I ordered mine and got a great price because with the link you posted you'll need to order the flywheel separately.

I think I am gonna go with the heavy duty pressure plate versus the extreme
Can someone explain the differences in them?
Ive heard the heavy duty drives like stock
and I drove the extreme 6 puck the other day and liked it but wouldnt mind it being a little more stock like in engagement Ie not so jerky
althought aht could be cause i wasnt used to it

if you ride more on the streets get heavy duty!
if you go a lot to the track get extreme...

So the heavy duty is actually less "heavy duty" than the extreme??
Well that just threw me for a loop
I had planned on going with the heavy duty anyways because I thought it was a step up from the extreme
either way I am gonna stick to the heavy duty since I believe that is what I drove the other day with the six puck

Also maybe you guys can answer this
if say 40k miles down the road I need a new clutch can I just buy a new disc instead of buying a whole new assembly??
say buy another 6 puck disk or a street disk for 150-200 instead of almost 700?
I am asking because I am REALLY clueless when it comes to clutches and drivetrains in general

I personally would go with a street disc with the extreme pressure plate

I've had both, and i personally hate the 6 puck. I had it for about 20min before i ordered a street disc.

See ive never driven the street disk but LOVED the way the 6 puck felt and engaged
you could feather it just enough to not look like a retard trying to learn stick for the first time

For me the 6 puck and extreme was a pain in the ass to drive. Hard to go through a drive through, it felt brutal on the drivetrain, the noise was crazy. I had to rev it over 2500RPM just to get it to engage kinda smoothly.

So I bought the street disc and absolutely love it. Engages like stock with a much harder pedal feel. Holds everything I throw at it.

mine was a bit like that with the HD plate until i had a few miles on the clutch. once it settled in, the pedal was firm but not overkill and engages great but takes anything I can put it through.

I drive daily with an unsprung 6 puck and it's not bad at all. If anyone has to rev to 2500 rpms to get their car to move smoothly with a SPRUNG 6 puck, they lack the ability to drive plain and simple.
