Default 05 tranny going bad?

so ive had the car for about a month now and i didnt really notice this till the other day but 3rd gear is acting funny. it seems to be like it may be a syncro but when i shift into 3rd at low RPM it grinds a little. i cant actually hear it but i can feel it when shifting. if i go up to 3k then it doesnt do it and shifts like butter, around 2500 it will do it from time to time. is this signs tranny is going to take a shit on me or is something else going on? going to change all fluids here in the near future so if any recommendations of fluid to use please let me know!

Your Synchro is going and it'll slowly take out your 3rd gear as well, as it gets worse.
