Post Photoshop Tips and Tricks

This thread is going to be dedicated to the use of Adobe Photoshop. I will answer as many questions as I can, but anyone who wants to help is more than welcome.

Ok so I could write up some tutorials, but there are so many online that are written as good I can write, if not better. I will post links here by section for you to master the skills of Photoshop.



Pen Tool
- The pen is the best thing sinced slice bread - LEARN IT

Brushes
- Learn how to add your own brush into photoshop.

Layer Mask
- Layer mask make it easier to hide layers and if you mess up, it doesn't affect the original picture.

Photoshop Tools
- Click here to learn what each tool is and it's uses.

Shortcuts / Shortcuts 2
- Tired of clicking copy and paste? Learn the shortcuts.



Color Change / Example 2
- Want your car green instead of blue?

Lower your 4x4
- Lower your car in these simple steps, the easy way! Use the Pen tool for a cleaner effect.

Change your ugly rims
- Quick tutorial to have new rims on your new ride in minutes.

Carbon Fiber
- Add a carbon fiber hood or trunk

Reflections
- Make a simple reflection.

Sketch
- Can't Draw? That's ok, use this tutorial.

Sig Tutorial
- Great sig tutorial.

Soft Glow
- Add a soft glow to your picture.


Stencil Text
- Simple text effect.

Bling Bling
- Make your text look like a rappers necklace yo!

Ice Ice Baby
- Cold as ice.

Yeah I tried that carbon fiber one too, but I don't really like it. The weaving is too big. I'll have to work on it try to figure it out.

I second learning the keyboard shortcuts! It's impossible to be productive in Photoshop without it. That link above only has the shortcuts for the menu items. Even more useful are the shortcuts for the tools. Here's a summary I found: http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/keyboar...-cs2-toolsbox/ . M and V are extremely handy to know.

Some pretty good links, I gave my hand at the carbon fiber one...didn't turn out to bad.
