Default which photoshop do you use?

I plan on getting a new laptop for christmas and interested in getting photoshop, but i dont know which one to choose. Any opinions?

Depends. Most people here probably don't or wouldn't know to use the differences in say 6/7 versus say CS/CS2. If you want everything that is avaialbe, then CS2 is obviously the choice to make. Now wether or not you know or can use the added features of CS efficiently say over PS 6 or 7 then maybe 7 is what your looking for. Old copies (versions) are cheaper anyways for the budget minded person.

In a nut shell, PS7 will get you everything you would ever want to do or have seen with PS. I would not settle for less than PS7.

CS/CS2 series is just fancy for the more advanced and more importanly, efficiency folks such as myself.
