ok so i am putting my car back together slowly and soon i am going to need some paint. i was thinking about painting the bumper, hood, and fenders black and then on the roof and front doors make it look like the car was yellow but now its peeling back from going so fast... or maybe making it look as if the car is yellow and it has been dipped in black paint and now the black is dripping back into the yellow... can some of you guys help me come up with some ideas and maybe even make a photoshop to try to demonstrate what i mean so i can show the guy that will be painting my car? thanks!

I personally despise this type of paint job, but I know it's a more involved Photochop, and most people don't want to be bothered with it, so I did a quicky for you.
I think a two tone top-bottom would be more tasteful personally. I've never seen one on a 2nd gen Neon that I like though. The lines on this car are pretty blah, so finding a good place to split is tough. I'll try and get a Photoshop done for you a little later.
i was thinking two tone as well but i want the new perforated hood i just bought done in black and i dont think that would look right with the two tone being black on the bottom and yellow on the top.
really i tend to think it would look bettee on top... in fact i prob wouldnt even do the fenders or anything black i would do something similair to the older talons the hood trunk roof and pillars that go from the edge of the door fender to the roof and then the pill coming down from the roof to the rear quarter panel area i think that would look amazing
ok but here is the deal... i need to paint both fenders, i need to paint my hood, and i know where i can already get a bumper that is stock black color in good shape... also on my drivers side i have a dent that needs worked out near the bottom part of the panel so it will need paint too. so if i am already needing to paint those areas why not use those areas to do something different... let me show another pic to show you where it needs repaired.
the red spots are the areas that need paint and/or dents worked out
