So who is gonna be the first with a 420a SRT hybrid?
No, no, not an SRT-4 engine swap, I mean the turbo/manifold on a 420a!
A little food for thought to get the gears turning:
PT Cruiser NA head ~$250 (used), it'll bolt right up to the 420a block.
SRT turbo/BOV/manifold/wastegate ~$500 (new, so I'm told) it'll bolt right up to the PT head, so I'm told.
Add in your choice of intercooler, fuel system......

$500 for a new turbo/bov/manifold/wastegate? i would have to see that to believe it.

If that number is right any Dodge dealer should be able to look it up and order the part. I am not 100% sure if that price includes the wastegate and BOV.
I got the part number from another forum (the forced induction forum on neons.org)
http://www.neons.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=72027

I listed the Forum Dodge website because they quoted someone the price of $378.35, which is the cheapest price quote I have heard. I have heard quotes of $400-460 from other Neon dealers.
If you follow the second neons.org link I listed above you will see that Bob Stockum ( www.bstockum.com ) also confirmed that both the wastegate, and BOV are included under that part number.
It should work out. But remember, a stock setup will probly blow the rods on a stock block. The srt has stronger pistons and rods. In the supra forums, there is a guy there who use to work for hahn racecraft. He said that after 14psi the rods would give. 15psi is stock on the srt4(in cold weather that is).
On the second link check out the very last car. Its a 2.5L block with the DOHC neon head, pumping out 498ft-lbs at 2600rpm on 16psi as if FWD wasn't enough of a traction problem

Heck I wouldn't run 10psi on the stock Neon rods, they suck! General consesus is that stock Neon rods are suspect at around 200hp at the wheels (with a ~8000rpm rev limit, common on a turbo car).
