Some yahoo from Akron Ohio purchased it from GaryS who inheritited it. He loaded the site up with Ads, popups, started banning people left and right. I actually thought he was trying to do something good, i was wrong I assume after the ads and such.
New owner emailed me because i sent him a shamefull email. Responded with a rant on how he has "burned many bridges in his life, he isnt as young as I think he is, and he does care that the 4mation is a burned bridge.
I find it funny in a sense. I offered the original owner $ for the site when I found out he wanted out, he passed up my $ to give it away for free. Although there was no $ amount mentioned, I would have made a substantial offer as the site had some potential.

Not sticking up for the new owner, but you know as well as I know that site was on its way out for a long, Loooong time. It was jsut a matter of time before somthing happened. The site was never what it was back in 06-07 due to faulty managment, arrogant people, and what have you. I made an offer to the owner, the previous owner (GaryS) and to the original owner. The original owner decided to Give it away because I assume personal reasons and spite.
The site became a stomping ground for post whoring as appose to what it was suppose to be about. Shame really.
