Humming/buzzing might be the fuel pump which would be normal. The clicking sounds like a bad starter solenoid. Sometimes the starter can jam on the flywheel. Try rolling the car in nuetral and bump the clutch (to free the starter if it is jammed on the fly wheel), its a long shot.
How do u know the starter is good? Did you run power directly to it?
Make sure all connections to the battery starter and ground are good.
Good luck.

That is pretty quick to die for quite an expensive battery. I'm sure it was still under warranty though right?
