Hey everyone.. Penn State Abington is having their second annual car show this year April 23rd.. (Saturday) I will post more information as I recieve it from Penn State. I would like to have as many SRT's come as possible. We will be able to get a group discount with more cars.. As it stands now, admission is $10 per car (if you want to enter to be judged. BUT this might change as PSU revises the show) but with 4 it becomes 35 total.. Hopefully I can get 10+ SRTs to show up. I think it would be cool to have as many SRT's as possible show up and just overrun the place but thats just me.. I will post a link so you can fill out the application for admission to PSU's car show (only if you wanna be judged otherwise I was told you can park and come enjoy the show).. there will be judges there to award trophies to those who win them. Afterwards there is a cruise night setup by some people who are planning the show, but if you want to do an srt cruise night that might be more fun.

I am not sure how far a drive it is to Penn State from NYC. Anyone?? I did receive word that a dodge dealership i am friendly with agreed to bring a SRT-10 Ram and possibly a Viper. I asked them not to bring an SRT-4 because I am hoping to have more than enough there. A second dodge dealership offered to bring in a SRT-6.
-----Just to clarify something, if you come to Penn State to look and not to enter into the show, you DO NOT HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING... If you want to be in the show and be judged for a trophy, you pay $10 but if you have a group of 4 it becomes 35.There are something like 55+ trophies to be given out. Cars that are entered into the show must be at Penn State in between 9am and 1030am to prepare and be placed. The show opens at noon (12)... Also some other local dealerships said they are bringing in some cars to be in the show, Honda S2000, Pontiac GTO, 05 Mustang, 05 Vette, NO WRX's or STI's Subaru said NO. Saturn Ion Redline will be there. and more to come. Next update will be in 2 or less days..
AS promised here is the Application information that you will need. But first here are the important details. The show opens to people who want to show thier cars at 9am-1130am. Doors open to the public at 12 noon. Judging is from 2-230 and the trophies are awarded at 330-400. Show ends at 4pm. The faster I can hand the app in the faster you can get a spot. As I said before, PSU will only accept checks. If you want to drop it off yourself go ahead and do so. Otherwise It was suggested to me and then to you that the people who want to enter give me their info, and the money to enter the show through paypal and i will fill out the app for you and write the check for you and everyone else as a group. And thats that.. O yes, only 3 rules.. NO DRINKING. (yes i know its Penn State but NO DRINKING) No BBQ-ing... AND MOST OF ALL NO BURNOUTS AT ALL.. There will be Abington Police and it is a residencial area and you will get a ticket!!!!!!!

OK guys.. the payment deadline is this friday if you are gonna send a check in to penn state and reserve a spot.. otherwise you can pay at the door your $10 and hopefully get a spot. If you are gonna go that route I highly suggest you come right when the show opens at 930am to pay and get a spot asap.. I hope to see you guys there..
I think the Blue/White game is that Saturday.....if so I will be drunk by 9am
yeah the blue and white game is around that week, so theres going to be alot of partying down at psu main, i might be going down for the blue and white game, if i had my srt-4 (which in a month i'll haveit ,grad college in a month) i'd be in on the psu car show.
