Default stage4 on stock flywheel?

Guys at clutchmaster, how good will it work? Will it break or hold the power my car makes? I haven't dynod my car but I know I am close to 400hp my mods are in my sig. So how good will the stock flywheel work with your stage4 6 puck clutch?

i wouldnt recommend it because the stock system is a modular system and you would have to have someone rebuild the stock one and put a different disk in it....i would just get a non-modular clutch.

I ask this because the tranny shop my car is at said that they order the stage 4 but it didn't come with a flywheel so want to order a stock flywheel. That's why I am asking if it would be fine or should I tell them the get a stronger flywheel?

so i take it they ordered the non-modular clutch. So what you'll need to do is order a flywheel because the stock clutch disk, flywheel and pressure plate are one unit...they dont just unbolt.

i put my CM stage 4 6 puck in w/o doin anything to the flywheel. runs good, grabs good. only problem is a lil bit of chatter from the TOB. it doesnt bother me and the noise has gone away a lot.

Oh really! You didn't have any problems installing the clutch to mate up with the stock flywheel? And you say it works fine? Do you run it at the track or street race?

time in sig, my car isnt driven everyday but the last 5 times it was driven it was taken down the strip. so my car has done about 40-50 passes in a row. and i used to drive it everyday with the clutch on, after the break-in it was fine. feels like stock but grabs a lot better. no problems installing either, took me and my bro 6 hrs on jackstands...

Kool good to hear. Well my car is my daily driver. I hope I don't run into problems there. I haven't in a while but I street and race at the track but the most runs my car has seen in a day at the track must be under 10 runs. You say you got the 6 puck clutch right... and you say it feels like stock??? I thought the 6 puck feels like you pushing down a wall lol.

when i drove my car as DD for a few months with this clutch didnt have ANY problems. trust me you'll love it. just get a mopar TOB from the dealer to put that in with the clutch.

Throw Out Bearing, you replace it with the clutch. mine rattles a lil bit, and i've heard if u replace it w/ the mopar one instead of the on CM supplies it doesnt make the noise. this is what i've HEARD so im not 100% on it. You'll LOVE the clutch tho, im deff 100% on that.

Oh ok I thoight it was something that I have to get lol. Thanks for the info man. Hey when you do tot the track where do you launch it at? You just dump the clutch right? You can't slip it of feather it or anything like that right? That what I read.

dont know where u read that but its bullshit. theres no way to launch on street tires w/o feathering the clutch.
i launch @ about 2krpm feather the clutch while blipping the gas (dont hold it steady) and make sure in 1st you dont smash that gas pedal down, make it a nice smooth motion so that boost doesnt come on too quick and knock ur tires loose. dont WOT shift 2nd, but 2-3 and 3-4 is fine. this is on 18" kelly all seasons, and my best is a 1.94 60'. on 18" proxes 4's i did 1.86. both sizes are 225/40/18.
