Default Question about a stage 4

Was there any revisions from the first S4 you offered, to the currect S4 you offer now? I bought a S4 from Modern Performance a long time ago, and just wondered if the design has changed at all.

Should be 13's, for sure

Yours for the right price! (Cheaper then you think!)

Yes, we are releasing our new non-modular design this week, more info about the new setup in this thread.. good news coming from CM for the SRT-4.
For people who have already bought the modular kits, this new flywheel design on the new kits gives you the option to bolt your existing pressure plate and disc up to the new flywheel to eliminate the flexplate.

You can just unbolt the pressure plate from the flywheel.

OK, so I just took my clutch apart, and it's pretty much toast. If I want to rebuild this, I just need to buy what, this new flywheel and a new puck? What kind of prices am I loooking at? It's a S4 6 puck. I'm kinda stoked about this new flywheel, but when will they become available? I need to get it to the machine shop is why I ask.

That’s correct, or you can send your old stuff in to get rebuilt and rebalanced with the new flywheel to ensure proper release. The new flywheels are supposed to be ready to go by the middle of the week sometime, and I will have pricing on them at that time.

What's this 'proper release' thing? Does the whole clutch assembly need to be balanced with the flywheel? How much more is that going to cost, and what is the cost of the puck itself? Thank you for this, so far it has been really really helpful!

It is not required to balance the kit, but if there is any wear on the pressure plate, this might affect the engagment point of the clutch when you put the new disc and flywheel in. Usually it will not affect it to much, we just like to offer this to make sure that the clutch is going to release properly. Well the puck disc itself is right around $280, and if you just had us rebuild yours and reset it up with the new flywheel, this would only cost you the cost of the flywheel plus around $100. (then again there is the shipping cost and all that)
