Proper break-in procedures, FX100-FX700

Break-in procedure for the FX100, FX200, FX300, FX600, (street applications):
To allow the friction material to properly seat to the flywheel and pressure plate, a minimum break-in period of 500 miles is required before full abuse can be initiated. The break-in period means normal stop-and-go driving (no full throttle shifting or compression braking).

Break-in procedure for the FX400, FX500, and FX700 (race applications):
The race applications come with a ceramic button style disc or iron disc, these clutches are meant to take a lot of abuse and require little to no break-in period. If possible, a break-in period of a couple hundred miles can greatly extend the life of the clutch.

Question: i am considering s 4 6 puck dual friction.. what are the major differnces between the track and street, and how does the pedal feel compared to stock (stiffness, grab, wierd sounds etc), and ofcourse the price differences.

lots of noise, and pedal feel is softer

Are you asking the differances between the FX400 (ceramic, not dual friction) and the FX300 (street clutch)?

yea its normal for the pedal to feel softer and the noise it happens to all cm clutchs

I put my fx400 in friday, I've since put 100 miles of stop and go driving on it since. Is it safe to go to the track tommorow on my DOT's and run it WOT? Thanks
