Default My CM S4 4 Puck Thoughts

I was a bit worried after reading all these negative posts, but I still went ahead and purchased it. Its been on the car a bit over 1K miles, and so far so good.

Only complaint is the noisy TOB. Pedal feel is lighter than stock and the shifts remain the same. Clutch grabs, and burns tires! Reverse takes a lil effort.

Thanks for your comments on your S4, glad to hear you like it.

As far as the negative posts, please do realize that we have an open forum for people to come when they have questions or to get help with a defective product, so it is inevitable that the negative posts will out number the positive posts (in the forums). I guess my point is that you can't get an fair opinion from the forums because it is a more common place to speak your mind and get you frustrations out about faulty products, but I can assure you that out of the hundreds of clutch kits that we sell to the SRT community, the relative number of dissatisfied customers in very minimal.

The forums are a great way for us to hear about customers concerns and any faulty products so we can always keep improving the quality of all our products.

I am sure Luis has all the specs for your clutch and can use them to update all the new kits. I will give him a call and talk to him about it.

Also, I was just going to pm you and tell you that the new non-modular flywheels are on there way sooner than I though. We will hopefully have the first batch done by the end of next week!

This is by far the #1 clutch sold as far as quantity etc yet it has less failure rates then the others even though there are more out there.

Travis, spank Luis in the arse for me.

CM,
I hate to dig up this old thread to present an issue but here it is.
At 48K miles I had this clutch installed. I now have 54K miles on the car (yes 6K miles in 2+ years)

I'm quite disappointed to say the clutch is slipping so bad that only at high rpms is it able to 'slightly move the car'. I have pulled the clutch out and an would like to know if I have any options for a rebuild or anything at all....

I havent done any roadracing or track racing since I installed this clutch. The car sits in the garage mostly.

Quite disappointed things turn down hill in such short mileage.

Cali...

BTW:Using a friends account cause mine isnt active and admin wont restore it.

What we can do is inspect it for internal defects and replace all damaged components at cost. Also if nothing appears to be defective with the clutch itself, we can still rebuild it for you but you may also want to check for wear on your clutch fork or any other external factors which could lead to this.
Here is an RGA# for you.. 060709TB

PM me when you ship it out or if you ned any other information..

Thanks!
