yes they make loud enough sounds to almost sound like bottom end knock and yes its either you go or stall
i cant imagine you are trying.....TRYING to daily drive the car with this clutch?
and just a warning....these clutches are known to chew the teeth of the input shaft and or snap them. Not the clutch's fault but you'll want a billet input shaft once you kill this one
We went with the FX650. You can have CM combine the FX600 and FX700 which is a pair of bonded organic/kevlar mixed discs. Good for 800+ and not too harsh.

well my tranny and shaft are upgraded already, and no its not a daily driver, though i do dive it maybe 2-3 times a week......i went out and droveit some more, seems the more i drive it, maybe warming the clutch up, it does great and getting more use to it... i knew about the input shafts but wasnt too worried since i have upgraded already..... but if something does happen, oh well, just buy a new one, nothing new,ha.........
thanks for the help

oh yea, im just soooooooooo happy im finally getting my 550 to grab and go ya know?
i like the fact this is the first clutch CM has put out for the SRT that actually hasnt seen its limits reached before input shaft snaps like a twig. Bet you feel like manual n00b trying to get used to the near instant engagement
haha, oh yea, after you get going, its lovely, but that first engament is tricky, but i guess ill just have to get use to it......
Funny, I thought first gear was easy:
1. Two Step activated.
2. Foot to the floor.
3. RPM's reach 4800.
4. Drop Clutch & release 2 step simultaneously
5. Wait approx 1.5 seconds.
6. Shift to 2nd.
Oh, wait that was w/ slicks on the track.
On the street you just give it a little gas and relax your clutch foot until the car starts to move, then more gas and let the clutch out. Better to chirp the tires a bit than to stall trying to pull out in traffic.
