i don't know anything about the exedy, it also not a clutchmaster. i have this clutch and can defiantly vouch for its drive ability. its very hard to get it right on take off and not have it sound like you can't drive. it does getter better with some mileage. but i still stall it out occasionally. the plus side though is the pedal is short but not extremely stiff. it engages less than and inch off the floor board but once your moving it shifts just find after that. then on the downside also you can't down shift this clutch with out rev matching or slowing way down for the next gear. if you do so the clutch grabs so hard it can lock up the wheels or most likely rip out the input shaft. if your not drag racing your setup or are over 700+whp or close to it. stick with the fx600.
