Default FX600 not working right....

SO I just finished my FX600 install tonight & at fire up have some serious problems. At idle it hammers, like a loud clacking kind of noise. It sounds like low end rod knock (for comparison), and this is in neutral. Then when you push the clutch pedal in, it sounds like your at the butchers (like a meat saw)& it has a loud metal on metal grinding noise. Now I thought maybe the clutch was being pushed in too far to make the grind noise, but when I attempt to put it into gear with the clutch any further out it will start to turn the wheels. I paid a lot of money for this clutch, and now get this. What am I to do??

Chatter at idle sounds normal.

Did you replace the TOB fork?

normal... push the clutch in and see if it goes away... i hope you have a billet input shaft as yours won't last long if you dont.

2nd, the clutch you got is basically an on and off switch. either it is in or out. when you start to depress the clutch the wheels will spin.. you probably bought something your not going to like in the long run (i would have gotten a cm s4)

You have to grind the TOB fork and/or adjust the clutch to work just off the floor. And you need a Rage CPA
