i understand chatter = noise, how bad is it for people on this clutch, anyone have any sound clips?
also, how bad is the vibration and clunky starts?
i expect a little different ride but not sure how much.. hows pedal feel?
its a daily driven stage 3 with a few supporting mods... not many.
also not sure on flywheel or not, any advice there?
i think my stock clutch is starting to slip (gasp!) and looking at getting one in a few months, and doin some research (again)
for some reason every few months the opinion on clutches changes, so... getting current feedback

its noisy, like noticable from 10ft away clutch chatter. car shakes more when the clutch is cold when engaging but for only 30seconds of use i'd say. pedal feels like stock and engages like stock.

GREAT! I just ordered my Stage 4 6 Puck, I got it from ModernPerformance and they recommended the 6 puck over the 4 puck because "it was quieter than the four puck" and "it would be better for daily driving".
Ok, First you have to ask yourself what kind of driver you are. The stage 3 Kevlar clutch will hold up to 400 crank hp IF, you do not drive like you’re on a road race course! The Kevlar is a bulletproof material, literally, and will last just about forever as long as it does not get glazed over from excessive over heating. Basically the stage 3 is an outstanding clutch for the NORMAL daily driver that needs a clutch to handle up to 400 hp.
The stage 4 is a noisier clutch and will chatter quite a bit during the first few hundred miles of brake-in (in first and reverse). You will hear a bit of gear rattle type of noise especially when adding the aluminum flywheel just because the aluminum will transfer the noise better than steel. If you can put up with this extra bit of noise though, the stage 4 is an awesome setup for even the most aggressive driver!
Are you the kind of person that will always be wanting to get more and more power out of the car over the next few years?
If so, I would say the Stage 4 six puck would be a no brainer, because it will hold what you throw at it. And the aluminum flywheel fast rev up & down is sweet. But, for a daily driver, you have to be ok with the noise in neutral and a little chatter when cold. If your a hard core HP freak, stage 4.
If 400 whp is enough for you and you don't think you will do any more power mods, then the stage 3 will be much more of a daily driver.
Either way you go, you will be happy with their product for sure.

Well I had my CM stg4 six puck installed yesterday and Its everything everyone had said about it......Noisy at idle,Alittle chattery and the tranny is noisier due to the aluminum flywheel,And it does have the stock pedal feel........
But.............It does grip great and I can deal with a few of the short comings....I'm just happy I can put down power in HOM with out my clutch slipping anymore......And the flywheel lets the car accellerate great too.I cant wait to go to the dyno to see some numbers....
