Default Clutchmaster s IV w alum. flywheel A+++

Well after hearing so many bad things about clutchmasters and having problems with clutches going out I decided to come in here and give you guys a . IMO these guys must be installing the clutches wrong or something. I did it in my garage with minimal effort and nothing but props to you guys. I bought it through BDJ's Racing, a vendor on the forums. Top notch guy and a top notch quality clutch.

Thank you for the positive feedback!

These days it seems people just use forums as a medium to express their negative thoughts. I guess it takes more effort to post positive feedback rather than to vent about negative experiences.

Thanks again!

PM me your address and t-shirt size and I will shoot you over one if you like.

See this is better news than the people always complaining that their CM clutches always break.

No install error....lasted a year and something broke...but i got my enjoyment out of it and this is the first clutch that i've had last 1 year.... will update this thread with pix once i get the kit out.
All in all the disk is very nice still gripping hard but i believe there is a flaw in the pressure plate design...so many people cant be making the same mistake.

Clutchmasters = ?????

Well i decided to go ahead and just get a new CM Stage 4 Four Puck with Aluminum Flywheel! I said, why get a rebuilt one and spoke with Travis and Luis, and they BOTH hooked me up very well! Their Customer Service is Top Notch and they are a pleasure doing business with!

Anyone else that has issues and says they have any problems with these guys, they should stop smoking whatever they are smoking and sell their cars, because they suck at life.

Thanks again Travis and Luis!

So this will be our 3rd BRAND new clutch we bought from clutchmasters! We had bought a Stage 4 Six Puck with my Parents Red SRT4 and that held up STRONGLY to our beatings at the track with the old 50 trim at 492HP/507TQ. We were at the track almost weekly trying to better ourselves and one of the key elements, was having a GREAT and STRONG clutch!

My Mother Lucille then built the Red SRT4 up and thought, well more power, lets get a stronger CM clutch, so they went to the Stage 4 Four Puck Clutch from Clutchmasters. That Clutch has held up to 636HP/597TQ with ease!

I Had gotten the old Stage 4 Six Puck, and sent it in to get rebuilt. Got it back, installed it, and the car loved it! Took it to the track as usual and beat the crap out of the clutch. We Got our monies worth on it, and now we simply just retired it and now I am getting, like i said above, their CM Stage 4 Four Puck With Aluminum Flywheel, as i do not want any issues because of the Flex plate.

I am sure when i get it and install it, it will be a pleasurable time in my life with it

By the way, the red srt4 needs the aluminum flywheel from you folks Travis!!!

Gabriel

were not mad at clutchmasters for there clutch were pissed because when it does crap out and you send it back you get 0"! replacement !!!

the answer i got 4rm c/m is that they inspected my clutch and didnt know why it failed but if i payed 330$ i get a rebuilt ..... mayb people wouldnt be pissed if they warranted there product lasted me 1 year im not here to talk or hate ....but a vendor like them should step up with actual warranty like dcr does to there clutches.... !!dcr teh best!!

dude, type proper grammar, and maybe then we could see what your issue was with CM.

As far as I know, you treat CM good, they will take care of you, which is true for almost all vendors.

^^^ That doesnt make sense!!!
How can you treat them bad?? The person trust their name and bought their product and when they needed help they didnt get a response they liked. (notice i didnt state which party is right/wrong)
I never reported my problem because i got enjoyment out of my clutch.
My only shocker is the disk is gripping strong but the pressure plate broke, I was driving at about 45mph an not pressuring it the clutch just wouldnt disengage.

Want a good report? my fellow SRT4 bud on the island has the same clutch no issues and he's had more power longer than me (mopar stg3).

But like i said it has to be sumthin wit the pressure plate, don't think I'm hating either I've had CM in my integra and I told my bud to get CM in his Evo....

I bet these guys issues are they hold the clutch in more then they should. They keep the clutch pushed in and strains the pressure plate til it breaks.

Hey dude, I got the shirt today. Thanks.

I would like to add when it was time for me to install the clutch I had the dealership do it for me.Believe me I was nervous but its still going strong over 2 years later.. So take that for what its worth. We all know how anti mod friendly the dealerships are.
