I do not think you need to word it as "higher powered SRT4's". IMO judging what has been posted for awhile by many people and knowing things first hand on my car, its not an issue just for people with a fair amount of mods = its just one of those things with this car.....i.e mods or no mods.

Good point, but it is going to be more common and apparently a given with the high hp setups just because of the extra load on the fork. I may reword it a bit as we get more feedback, so thanks for the input.

Yep pretty common thing for all of us at this point.

Its a good notice for clutch companies to write up though as it could save a lot of headache from telephone calls

Alright, two votes is enough for me! I just changed the wording to all SRT4's rather than High Powered SRT4's.

Thanks guys.

If I were manufacturer selling clutches for this car, a TOB release fork would be in the box containing the clutch (along with the TOB).

You might also want to consider do a small write up to include as helpful notes with the clutch on how to adjust the cross over cables, the torque struts and manually bleeding the slave.......might also want to include that the slave cylinder line does not need to be disconnected, rather it should be removed and secured out of the way = no air in the system. IMO you might save some after the install issues where the clutch gets blamed for problems....kind of like the fork being re-used.

All valid and good points! We always encourage the input from our customers like you to help us make the product better and in this case prevent headaches. We also gladly accept write ups on technical issues.

26,000 SRT-4's out there and I am sure by the first clutch replacement, stock or not, they have had the fork replaced. seems to be a "To-Do" during a clutch replacement on these cars.

But many clutch issues can be attributed to this little simple oversight.

Well the ball is rolling and we are aiming to provide a new fork with all new SRT4 clutch kits.

It may be month or so at least because we need to find a reliable source, but I will post as soon as this happens.

Thanks again for all the input guys!

Wow! That's great news!

Will we be able to buy this by itself or with a clutch kit only?

excellent, we need some thing better then the stock TOB fork for replacements. The wear on the TOB mating surface is totally unacceptable. Make it and money will come

The wallowing out of the contact points would cause what failure mode ? would it not disengage completley ? or would it not engage completley ?
Or would it just cause an overall lack of precision feel . The reason I ask is because somtimes my clutch doesnt want to grab well in 4th or 5th after a shift . Its possible im overpowering the clutch , But it seems like it comes and goes .
