Default Can you guys convert the FX700 twin disc into a NON-modular setup?

I was wondering if you could make a NON-modular clutch setup out of the twin disc FX600 w/the street discs. I have the opportunity to buy one, but I don't want a modular setup. Will this clutch be good for mostly street driving w/occasional drap strip use?

How much for the non-modular conversion if I send you the clutch and time frame as well?

thanks

Thats correct, the FX600 and FX700 are also non-modular kits.

saw the pics and it is a twin kevlar? disc modular clutch assembly..FX600?

I was told that some modifications have to be made to the clutch pedal's throw, but more importantly how much would it cost going to an aluminum flywheel/non-modular setup?

thanks!

The older style Twins were modular units. For pricing on the newer style flywheel please call our shop and speak to Luis at (909) 877-6800 because we do not have specific pricing on those so he can work something out with you.

Thanks,

thanks for the help!

Is it true that you need to make a clutch pedal "stop" so the throw is reduced to prevent damaging the clutch itself? If this is the older style is there anything I should be worried about or need to change vs. the newer style?

Yes, it is advised to make a pedal stop. Luis can better answer your questions about the older setup vs. the new.
