ACT to ClutchMaster
I use to have a Act street clutch but a week ago my tranny finally took a shit. it locked me out of all the gears but 3rd, i even didn't have reverse. So I had to drive it all the way home in 3rd. All the way home I smelled burned clutch, when I got home I smelt it in and out of the car. so I had it towed to a tranny shop to rebuild the tranny and they told me I messed up the clutch as well, I guess it happened driving it home in 3rd grear. So I told the shop to install the clutchmaster stage4 6 puck clutch with flywheel because I heard they are really good and they can take all the abuse you throw at it.
can anyone tell me the pros and cons about this clutch, because I heard the stage3 isn't that good for our cars but the stage4 is killer. I only know alittle about it, since I had the ACT clutch in my car. I'm excited to get my car back so I can see the difference in clutches. But can someone tell me is it easy or hard to take off in 1st gear since you can't slip or feather the clutch? Your 2cents are welcomed, thank you-omar.
