I am interested in buying a zt2 and logging. I have a question about the log screen. It looks like it is only giving a numerical reading at the end of the log. How are you to know what your readings are throughout the log? I dont plan on getting the lcd.

Do you see that vertical white line on each screen shot? Where ever that white line sits on the graph will display the readings for each input on the far right. When you place the cursor on the screen, moving it right or left will move the vertical white line and will show what the readings are for that particular spot where you leave the white line. So for example, in the screen shot I posted, I left the white line right at redline (6063 rpm on the graph) so I could see what each input was showing. If I wanted to see what all the inputs read at lets say 4000 rpms I would move the white line to the left a little until I found the exact spot where the RPMs read 4000.

Does that make sense?
Yep, thanks. I think ZT2 is the best deal I have found yet. Can wait fo the tax money. This and my DasClamp should make for some fun.
By the way I like the black wheels. I dont like em on black cars like mine, but looks killer on the red.
Hey, anyone have any problems with the ZT2 shutting down while dataloging? I have had it done to me a cpl times....Its getting annoying.
yes mine shuts down all the time.. especially after a pause or something.. like don't ever hit the spacebar during a tune or something.. its been a while since i logged anything.. going to try again soon
Man, I still cant get my shit to log on my PDA without it shutting my PDA down. This is begining to realy irritate me. I just paid 40 bucks to get the cable shipped in time for the track tommorrow and the shit is useless to me right now. WTF, anybody have these problems and are able to fix it?
And for the people with PDA logging, how do you pull it up on the pc when you hotsync. I havent been able to figure that out as of yet lol. I have this fucked up test log that I want to see if I can pull up on the laptop. Thanx.
Dude i am sorry to say but just use a laptop. It makes things so much easyer. I have never had my logging interupted with my laptop and i have logged 2 hours of data. It makes storage and play back simple. I know a PDA is smaller, but what a hassel to try and log, save, convert, transfer, then evaluate. Seams like your tring to make it way harder than it is.

I am not going out to buy another laptop for a cpl hunderd dollars to over a grand just to datalog when this is SUPPOSED to work. Others are getting it done right, I want to know what I can do to fix this. My laptop battery will not hold a charge off of the charger for any lenght of time to log lol, sory that isnt an option, plus at a 17in wide screen, its a bit bulky.
And I dont have to transfer the data anywhere to view it, I just want to know how be able to view it on the lappy. I dont need anything to view or convert data and then tune. Everything is viewable ine on a PDA, if I can figure out what the hell is wrong.
A HAHAHAHAHAHA. I got it to work, after a few resets and a clean download! Yeah, its cool. One thing though, I dont have my TPS, or RPM wires hooked up lol, so its kinda useless not to know the RPM to match with the AFRs lol. Guess ill have to rip open the dash yet again lol.
if you "lift when you shift" you can judge gearing from that but dont try and tune a rpm dependant controller without being able to view rpms on the logs (such as a SAFC), you will also see the blip in the a/f reading on the logs between gears
