^^^^nice^^^^^ I spent too much time and money buying the stupid little spools of wire at $3.50 a pop. That bag for $11.00 would have been worth it had I known about it.

ok..so i installed my zeitronix datalogger.....i used the boost and rpm options, i tapped in the tps as well, the lcd works perfectly, i see my readings very clear and the peak recall button works too. Now i cannot seem to be able to connect to my laptop,
my zeitronix came with a data splitter and a extra data cable(phoneline cable) along with a 9-pin adapter. Since my laptop has a 15-pin input(monitor input) it didn't plug in, so i removed the 9-pin adapter and plug the data cable straight to one of the COM ports, #3 to be exact, but i don't see anything when i open up the software, all i see is this, no graphs or nothing.

wait, you plugged the phone line into a modem? if you dotn have a serial port on your laptop you will need a usb to serial adaptor cable and the data will then go in thru the usb port on the laptop, i can get you one of the adaptor cables from zeitronix or you can pick one up at a local compusa/bestbuy/ect..
