Im pretty sure fresh ideas like this are dead in the water, the way things are going for the big American 3 now, especially if Chrysler merges with GM. Look for the big 3 to be churning out yawners and de-balled snore-machines for cars when the Viper's and Challenger's production runs are up. They'll try to mimic the vanilla flavoring of Toyota and will fail miserably, putting the final nails in the coffin in the American auto industry. Which is too bad, because it looks like GM will fail before it can bring the Volt to market, which would have been a big turnaround for them. At least it will make all of our cars instant classics a-la Studebaker, DeLorean, etc.
