Default Where to get -50 Washer Fluid

Now, I'm not even sure if they sell it, although they have info on Engine Runup's site so I would imagine they do. I can get a steady supply of -20 and -25 at the local store but does anyone know if/where they sell -50? I live in Jersey which gets pretty damn cold, I would think that if they do sell it I should be able to get my hands on it.

Thanks.

Marc

Just add some heet to the washer fluid, to bring up the methanol content to bring down the freezing point and then adjust your system to spray less or otherwise use it less often. I don't mean to imply turing it off, just dial the system back a little in the colder month's.

Thanks guys. I am aware of the Heet, just curious if they sold -50 anywhere around here. I'm probably just going to be using -20 or -25 and see how it is.

I would be kinda leary of buying the -50 and using it B/C it may have glycol (or how ever you spell the stuff) in it to lower the freezing point beyond the normal freezing point of -20 stuff

If you need to lower the freezing point use the heat.

Grifter I would not mess with the washer fluid. Your best bet is to just find methanol supplier in your area. Call some race shops one should point you to a source to buy it. You should be able to find it for around 2.25 a gallon

its funny to see people think you are going to use it to clean your windows with, its because it is cheaper then buying meth, it is a higher amount of meth over water and the lower the temp the less detergent that is going to be in there.....
