Why go through all of that?? have you tried jsut gettint he windshield washer fluid and just throwing 2 bottles of heet in there? that is the cheapest most cost effective way to go about making your own pre-mix though. Avoid getting the -30 or minus -40 jugs. They got detergent additives in there which can fuck up your motor. Remember the blue stuff like valuecraft.

hell yeah dude half meth and half alcohol good shit buddy of mine has a 69 plymouth gtx procharged meth injection hemi thing puts out over 1000 horsepower just use windsheild washer fluid like above said.

Purchase and use as pure a methanol as possible. Use methanol from sealed containers. VP M1 methanol is a standard as far as quality and purity. Some methanols contain additives which can effect components in a detrimental way.

The methanol other then M1 contains additives = will effect pump seals and diaphragms and or other components.........failures suck and happen when you least want it or you could get leaks and if the supply is mostly methanol or 100% it would be like a gas/fuel leak.

Some race shops are not careful in preventing cross contamination so be careful that you are not filling up 5 gallon containers from a 55 drum = just a little cross contamination from the transfer pump being used between different blends can cause issues.

The methanol you buy and want to use should look clear and not cloudy.

Handle with care. Check the MSD sheets on methanol, Its very bad stuff to be breathing or otherwise handling like a generic fluid.

Young kids having access to this stuff is a disaster waiting to happen so if have kids and a garage keep it locked up and make sure the wife or other adults know whats in the pail/drum and that its not gas or weed killer....it is potentially much more dangerous = just needs to be inhaled for problems.

I'd use the windshield washer stuff to be honest. $2.49 a gallon, and water is a MUCH better coolant than methanol.

for those that are interested we have our meth on sale for $15.95 for 4 gallons of 51/49 mix. We are moving in the fall and need to move as much as possible. Shipping weight is about 34 lbs, depending on where everyone lives is $20-$30 per case of 4 gallons.

methanol is a great way to go you get added power and yes water disapates heat the best but more meth more power better burn trust me a 75 % mix is a good way to go a 50 50 is also good.... windshield washer stuff is just cheap and well pointless for a meth system in my eyes.

Its like running high octane gas really. water is like......not...i dunno haha but meth will still get rid of your knock.......

There is a place on north ave, east of 355, west of 83. on the south side of the street. Its a performance shop whos name eludes me right now. I beleive when i went there for it it was $30-35 for a 5 gallon. They don't always have it in stock, but most of the time they do.
