Actually, no. This thread is a sticky. I have stayed out of this thread but when someone makes a statement with zero proof to back it up, I want clarification. Too many people will read this thread and get the wrong information.

Still waiting.

Ok, I'll take a stab at it.

Denatured alcohol is easier to get but more expensive. Its believed to be in the 108 to 110 octain (maybe someone can confirm this).

Methanol is cheaper, harder to get. Believed to be closer to 118 octain (Again, maybe someone will confirm this).

both will have a good cooling effect but remember for EGT cooling you certaintly want some water. As you start adding higher concentrations of methanol your EGTs will rise VS higher concentrations of water. Atleast thats the data we have on alot of the big diesels we sell to, I would assume similar with a gasoline engine.

Default PWM valve Vs. PWM pump speed injection

CM.

same what thing?

they dont need the speed huh.....

are you selling alky systems or are you selling bull shit?

Just answer my question. Why will a PWM pump system cause over cooling and loss of power when using 100% water and not a PWM valve.

Answer that question in your best technical detail. You made the statement, answer it in a way that makes sense.

I was looking for a simple "yes" or "no". I will have to assume you agree with my position since you obviously avoided the question.

Question?

I have the S3R with Toys, havn't been able to find the specs on the Intercooler Pump.....but would the standard, Intercooler Spayer be effective as a Injection system? Its preset to come on and spray at set points and then also can be manually controlled.

Want to have fun with you engine?
Of the MANY sensors that monitor engine functions, one of them is a knock sensor. If the enging starts to knock it will retard (pull)the timming. So, do you know how to check to see if your knock sensor is working? Take a hammer and TAP (do not beat the sh-- out of the engine) on the engine block while the engine is running and you will see the computer pull timming out. The engine speed will change right in front of you.

Can I ask a dumb nooB question...

If using a windshield washer fluid as the injected liquid, how would this affect fuel economy? the previous posts have stated that these injection techniques are good for fuel economy. I would like to know how? And does that fuel economy improvement apply to non-turboed cars as well? I would assume it should, since the fluid is being injected into the air intake path...

Maybe I am just stupid.

Dude you're only injecting when the car is at full throttle so who cares about fuel economy? You would only see better fuel economy at WOT because the water injection allows you to run leaner mixtures without detonation because of the higher octane, leaner = less fuel.
