My coolingmist suddenly stopped working what are the signs of a bad pump?i have the old pump and not the new black one. Could it be anything else? thanks
How do ya know it stopped.. Take red wire connect it to the battery and black wire connect it to ground. If it pumps your still good if not.. well then ya know..
I would also not run it dry run some fluid though it.. Its how I tested mine when I first got it used.
go to mcmaster.com and buy a pressure sensor its like 20 bucks and well worth it. hook it up right before the line goes to the intercooler tube. buy a small led and wire it from the pressure sensor to the light inside the car. that way when the pressure sensor sees a certain psi a the light will turn on and you will know its spraying. i also had a cooling mist pump go out on me(the silver pump) i tested it a bunch of times and it worked but every time i installed it it stopped working, so i just bought a new pump.
no i still havent found out... the fuse is good and the ground is good as well. i think i just need a new pump. well the fuse looks good. could a good looking fuse be bad????

no its not... i first noticed when my car started running lean i think ive checked everything. im like 75 percent positive its the pump. i will recheck everything 2mrw and get back to u guys. thanks for all the input
My boost switch just went bad. Instead of removing everything I just switched wires around to test the pump by itself and the switch by itself. I took the power wire run to the boost switch and ran it straight to the pump, pump worked, moved the wire from the top pole to the bottom pole on the boost switch and nothing, that means a bad switch for me.
