i have a DO progressive meth inj system w/ a 2bar controller.
i have a m3 nozzle. i did a WOT pull in third gear and my scan gauge read 6KR at about 4500 RPM and by redline it showed 8KR. my wideband read 11.5 at redline would a bigger nozzle help with my knock? the mix i run with is 50/50.
yeah a bigger nozzle and maybe mess with different mixes. the M3 is way to small for ur setup. ull need like 4 M3 nozzles lol
ppossibly dual or directport might be best
the M3 is for like 300hp
ur pushing way more than that brah

i was boosting 19lbs on a 60-1 trim
Holy crap what was your KR before w/m? Are you sure the system is spraying and working correctly?
well ive had the system since stock turbo and on 18 lbs falling off to 15 with 91 oct. it was around 6KR, since then i have found a gas station with 93 oct i use that now but its probably the same shitty 91 cause, when i was in florida with the car this past month i had no knock on my 60-1.
im going to be getting some race gas soon so i can rule out it maybe being audible knock.
if u have that much KR, then you need to fix your tune BEFORE meth.
all youre doing is patching it up via meth, and if you meth takes a shit after youre tuned on it (itll be more aggressive), shit is gunna hit the fan..
Something is not right with your engine managment. Or engine.
As others have stated it's a good place to start.
As for a larger nozzle. You are spraying into a 3 inch pipe. From what I have seen I would not go over a m5 in any piping under 3.5 inches. If you need more than a m5 can provide than add a second nozzle. Start with a m2 as the second. Keep them a min of 3 inches apart.
Also the bigger you make the hole (larger nozzle/ extra nozzle) the higher your on-set duty cycle is going to have to be.
Good Luck

the charge pipe i have is 2.5 inch. i know my tune is a little off, i figured. i had a pretty good afr at redline (11.5)
i mean the knocl comes in at about 4300 rpms, a little after the turbos spools up

2.5 sounds about right. My bad. I've been working on a DTE466 international and The plumbing for that monster is all that's in my head.
As for engine managment I was thinking timing, fuel. and air as a whole. Even something as simple as too hot a plug, or gap to wide.
Not saying I have a crystal ball that can see into your engine bay. Just an idea on where I would start.

i get where your coming from. next weekend im doing a boost leak test and changing the plugs and maybe have a buddy help street tune it.
What does your timing look like? You should definitely fix your tune before you run meth. Im not sure what your tuning with but even with a good amount of meth and nice a/f's you can still get KR from running too much timing. "Pulling fuel" with any kind of mapclamp could cause this.
Man, its been awhile since i posted in here. I use to live in this section.
