Okay, seems to be a need for this. In keeping with the "Simple" thread tradition, PLEASE,PLEASE, take discusion offthread. These threads rapidly lose value if you have to wade through 5,493,252,395 posts where folks ask question or make comments.
There is be a similar Stage 2 HOM thread, do not report S2 results here
I repeat, NO discussion, just DATA. Format as follows, feel free to cut and paste the format and fill in your answers. Expect there to be some changes to format for the first wee, while I get feedback (PMs please) If a certan question does not apply to your setup, answer N/A.

Fuel octane/additive used: ( specify summer/winter blend): 93 Oct
Environment(Temps/Altitudes): 82 F/ 0 feet or so
Results summary: Running a 50/50 mix distilled/denatured alcohol. HOM would not hold, past 4500 3rd Gear.
Waiting on the devil progresssive controller with Map Clamp to try again.

Results summary: I use 40/60 Methanol / water or 50/50. I have also used -20 deg cheap windshield washer fluid (methanol based). Never had any problems holding HOM even while I was road tuning the ramp for a week or so. I have never use isopropal alcohol except to remove tree sap from my sunroof. Below 92 octain fuel and I can not hold HOM in the top of 3rd or 4th
Update... 5/2/07 mileage now 25,000
This season I added a ED beast intercooler, DCR mod on the S3 turbo and manifold and maxxfab down pipe. With the current WI settings the car wil not hold HOM reliably to redline in 3rd or 4th. Giong to try the Coolingmist S-HSV, Varicool, 2 CM nozzles, and cooler plugs. Will post the results...
Update 5/12/07
No problem now. holds HOM just fine.
Ended up using two nozzles a M5 and a M2. The M5 is in the exit/cold side pipe of the intercooler. The M2 is in the up-pipe just before the intake air temp sensor. Currently using the prototype S-HSV set-up from coolingmist. soon to be replaced by the production unit.

Environment(Temps/Altitudes):58 deg F./2700 ft elevation
Results summary:
Test 1: 50/50 distilled water/methanol, 8 gallons 91 octane, one bottle NOS Racing forumla octane boost. Results: HOM held 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear kicked out at 5500. Two pulls made it to 5800 rpm and shift without being kicked out. 4th gear pull to 4800rpm, then kicked out of HOM.
Note: intercooler sprayer was OFF because of the Methanol in windshield tank.
Test 2: 100% distilled/drinking water mix. Added 4 gallons 100 octane to above tank, tank 3/4 full. HOM holds to redline, works perfect.
Note: intercooler sprayer was on auto mode.
Next Test will be to try the 91 octane with 100% water mix, I never got a good chance to test this.
On point: Varied from 2-12 on, max varied from 15-7
Fuel octane/additive used: ( specify summer/winter blend): 93 Oct
Environment(Temps/Altitudes): 50 F/ 0 feet or so
Results summary:
Same, you can see the HOM kick out at different points based on the settings /nozzle, but IT ALWAYS kicks out at a max rpm of 4700 or so. This is on DAB1 and 2
Waiting on the devil progresssive controller with Map Clamp to try again
100-octane Union 76 Unleaded (believed to be fresh, November...winter?)
Albertson's 50% Warsher Fluid (with methanol - protects to +25F) and 50% Heet Fuel conditioner (believed to be 100% meth)
Environment(Temps/Altitudes): 62.2 degrees F, 29.70 in-Hg, 57% Humidity, Sea Level (Pleasanton, SF Bay Area)
Results summary: In November 2005, Max Power 339.96 HP, Max Torque 343.35 but consistently drops HOM at 5400 RPM.
In January 2005 before installing WI, it consistently dropped HOM at 4800 RPM in 3rd gear.
Installed WI in May 2005. Various mixtures or water/alky or water/meth with 375mil injector showed no improvement to HOM.
In November 2005, re-tuned WI with 325mil nozzel and gapped new NGK 4306 plugs to .032" from .035" and held HOM to 5400 in 4th gear.
In early December 2005, dropped HOM in 2nd with DAB0 but reverting to stock mounts held HOM in DAB0 to redline in 3rd gear.
So it's getting there, slowly. Will try again soon, when the rains a-stop.

Reason: Edit - sorry, but more changes came to kind after reading it again...I think it's a fair representation of my experiences now.
Significant mods (your wiper blades dont count): S3r, AGP S3 Waste Gate, JMB ultimate intake, kinetic 60mm TB, ED wuss IC, Maxxfab 3" 02 housing, MaxxFab catless dual tip with muffler.
Kit Maker/Type: Coolingmist
Nozzle size(s)/Location: Dual M5's in UPP, One at the IC outlet and the other at the TB.
On point/ramp % / Full point: after 35% throttle, On point 5 psi, full point 17psi
Fuel octane/additive used: ( specify summer/winter blend): Euro 95 (same as US 93) for 0 knock. Using 91 octane I can still hold HOM but do get 2-3 kr on occasion depending on the weather.
Environment(Temps/Altitudes): About 50 degrees outside.
Would be a Great Thread if more people were sharing their results
Didn't need a bump it's a sticky already I know there are a few including myself that have had success and not posted in this particular thread. I've been working with a few others and will wait until I have it nailed down to a setup that is 100% of the time reliable and that will work on just about every S3 car.

6/29/06 UPDATE: Installed the M5 nozzle and still get the same results. Its nice having an external nozzle as I'll be installing a 9 gallon a minute nozzle to get more flow into this beast. Results to follow.

Held pretty good in 1st thru 3rd and most of 4th. 1-3 deg KR and then top of 4th it falls apart. Using -30F washer fluid. Notable changes:
M10 Nozzle- Same location.
Second AIT sensor mounted outside the charge pipe. ( PCM connected here)
To do:
Try again with the AIT inside the pipe.
Try with stock MM
Try with dual nozzle setup ( dual 5 GPH, add one before TB)
Try with 1 step colder plugs.
