most of the time you will get some nice results un-tuned as long as you don't inject too much fluid to soon and bog the car down

to get the optimal results yes you do
but tuning to where you are dependent on meth to run safe or not is still a very debated topic myself personally I am not dependent on meth to run safely

none at all a but wideband A/F gauge is a must just to see where your AFR is you don't really wanna exceed 11.5-11.9 AFR or pop goes the engine if your not lucky
but if you really wanna see meth shine you will need some way to pull enough to be dependent on meth to run safely

I also have the coolingmist and I love it. The only thing I wish i would have done different is I wish i would have gotten a progressive controller of some sort. Meth injection with a fuel controller is a great way to increase timing, while upping boost, and leaning out your afrs to make significantly more power and staying safe on pump gas. Good luck on your decision and if you have any more questions just post up buddy.

well it basically boosts your octane safely and more efficiently without the need to use racegas all the time. It keeps the engine cooler by steamcleaning and absorbing the heat bringin the temps down.

Well you dont actually need a tune if you have a stage kit and plan on runnin hom all day. But a tune is most effective though to gettin more power out of it . Bolting it on alone with give you about 20extra whp.

Well you dont need alot of mods to run it safely just a bigger intercooler if you choose to make it as cold as possible and a nice 3inch tbe.

I am running devilsown progressive controler with m5 nozzle 150psi pump 60/40 watermeth. Stock tubro runinng agp wastegate and all other mods for big turbo. Wideband a/f hit 12.6 at its highest in 4th gear at 23 boost and dropping to 12.3 at red. I rarely see 1 count of knock unless i hit bumps. 3rd is in the 12 a/f with no knock so i would say water/meth is helping, EGT are all under 1625 at there highest as well.

Is there a difference between the vari-cool kit and say a standard kit?

Yes, the Vari-Cool kit has our Vari-Cool controller, the standard kit injects "on/off" based on boost, not progressive.

If your budget says "yes", the Vari-Cool is the way to go. If not, get the standard kit and upgrade later.
