water/meth injection cools your combustion temps and intake charge. Methanol has a high octain and burns cooler than fuel has a great cooling effect as well. Water has a very slow evaporation, the system soaks up alot of the heat prior to going into the engine, this colder temp leads to a higher safety margin, alows you to run more boost and timing and the end result is more power.

its one or the other, you dont want to get an intercooler sprayer and meth injection. id go with meth injection, its a lot cheaper and works much better.
Yes it is very impressive definitely the trunkmount is a excellent way to go a little time consuming to have it done perfectly for the first time. BUt after you take the car out for a spin in high octane mode man its a wonderful feeling.

my favorite mod is still the SST but with out the meth injection it wouldent be nearly as much fun....and it makes me feel good knowing that it is keeping my knock in check too.
