Nice link 05 ACR SRT-4. Where did he mount the pump...?
FYI, we invested quite a bit of money into tooling and engineering for that tank. Its a custom fit for the Shurflo/Aquatec pumps. Also if you look you will see its spin welded tank rather than the simple blow molded tanks you commonly see. About a year ago we had to have a 2nd tool built to keep up with demand. Tooling is always an expensive part of product design.
There is a nice 2.5 gallon tank on that us plastic page for about $17-18.
Why didn't you get the stage 1 kit if you aren't using the included tank?
Thats a really good point. But the Stage 1 kit comes with the 150psi pump not the 250.
Checking out the coolingmist site the bigger pump is only $40 more. I thought I got a deal on my setup. I personally would of saved like $10 after shipping. I guess I can justify the included tank being worth $10 though so I still got a great deal.
I take it I need a vented one since the coolingmist tank is vented.
damn neon ownrs trying to save money! lol
That Aquamist One is cool, but I bet its a small fortune. Yeah I searched. $320.
Yeah I love the design of the trunkmount one and how the tank mounts right on it.
One more question. Would it be a good idea to run two 1 gallon tanks similar in size as opposed to one big 2.5 gallon tank coolingmist suggested? If I ran two tanks I could do one tank with meth and the other for water like the link posted on the 3rd reply.
What I been told locally its a good idea to run a big tank so you don't have to fill it up all the time. Yours is a half a gallon more than mine. Running the 2.5 gallon tank would solve that problem.
How much meth/water gets used up during say 1 WOT pull from 3rd-4th gear with the m5 nozzle and 250psi pump?
