Default meth inj?

what are the advantages of meth injection with my set up?
"NOT including the blown transmission!"
and is their a down side to it?

2004 srt-4
i got stock motor
stock turbo
intake
agp waste gate
3" turbo back "catless"
port polished intake mani
walbro fuel pump
stage 1 injectors aka stock
boost sipkes @ 20-21psi and holds @ 17-18psi

upsides? More boost, colder intake temps, higher timing, less(if any) knock...check out some of the stickies/search

downsides? You'll get addicted lol

Btw, do you have a wideband?

Youll be able to turn your boost up, Im at 23psi and still rich.
Youll be able to turn up your timing as well
Knock, never happenes

Con's

Buying 5 bottles of windshield wiper fluid in preperation for a race weekend, will get you flagged as a suspected meth head
First and Second gear traction

I agree with all this

I buy 5 gallons like once every 2 months, costs me about $30. Mix that 50/50 so 10 gallons really...lasts me a while.

Looks like you have nothing to control fuel with, SAFC, DSP, etc. So in this situation you'd be working backwards.

nice!! i got a blown transmission right now lol but i think my next project is a meth kit and a safc!!

on the plus side i work at goodyear so i got all the high volume meth washer fluid i need lol

whats a good safc and meth kit??

SAFC's cost about 50 to 100 dollars less then a DSP. I would just save and get the DSP because its infanatly better.

So if your car's are running lean like mine, a water/meth kit would richen it up without re-tuning? That sounds just about perfect to me!

Without getting into specifics, yes. I havent tuned mine to the edge of meth injection, but I increased my boost and timing and Im still rich.

Im only using a map clamp right now to pull fuel. I pulled SO much fuel that the pcm freaked out and thought my map sensor was bad. At that point I was still rich.

DSP is the next purchase to get everything running.

are you stock turbo, and if so what psi you at? Also, are you using 100% meth?

Just curious cause im stock turbo, and just got my meth kit...but im probly gonna run a 50/50 mix.

Stock turbo, lowered boost to 20psi to check something, I was at 23.

Im using Splash -30 De-Icer Windshield wiper fluied, Which comes out aroung 62/38 water to meth. (http://www.hardwarestore.com/media/msds/256131.pdf)

Once I use it up Im going to goto a 50/50 mix using Yellow Heet

If the windshield works for you, fuck it, i'd stay with that. Only increase the meth mix if you start to see KR.
