DO NOT RUN STRAIGHT HEET with the standard trunkmount kit and 150psi pump. Only run pure meth with the upgraded pump. The standard pump seals will not hold up to pure meth. Coolingmist even says that on their site and on the box and on the pump.
OP, sounds like you need more fluid in the tank. With the trunk mount kit its hard to run the pump dry, but if you do, your going to need to siphon it a bit to get fluid into the pump again. The key here is to always keep the tank full.
Until all the vendors changed there minds because of liability issues, CM said all his pumps can run 100% meth. His new Black pumps anyway.

I dont agree here, we have been through this discussion many times. Theory and scientific data says it will fail, real world experience and disassembled pumps show no ill effects of straight meth.
been running straight meth for over a year as a daily driver, no issues whatsoever. Go straight meth....

i know, its a liability disclaimer not a functional statement. I personally never taken apart a pump and have no firm understanding how it works, but from what I read the basic diaphragm design means no fluid ever reaches the actual pump or seal areas.

That is CYA at its best. its a disclaimer of liability. If you run 100% meth and a spark causes a fire we are not responsible. Having said that, all coolingmist pumps sold after 9/2007 have EPDM seals which are chemically compatible with 100% methanol.
