Yo Cow, what kid did you get? Where did you install it yet? I feel like the car was running better with the original lean tune that realtune gave, instead of my new personal richer tune.

I have teh coolingmist varicool system with a 250psi pump, m5 nozzle on my interoocler endpipe.

I have a tune for my meth, I just havent hooked it up, it has increased timing, and I need to raise my boost to 25, im running 100% meth.

i have the meth hooked up, but I havnt done the tune yet, because I want to test to make sure its spraying and also am going to order a clog detector from coolingmist. dont want to have any issues

Nice, ya my tune was aleady pretty lean so just hooking up the meth would richen it up and eliminate knock but no cigar...might test later on 2nt

make sure ur tank is atleast halfway full before actually doin pulls.anything lower might affect the spray and not spray fully to actually notice a diffrence in knock.

Make sure your actual NOZZLE is spraying properly. This involves more than just giving the pump voltage to see it squirt liquid. Remove the coldside pipe and turn on the pump and take a look.

If that doesn't work, play with the boost switch.

The tank does not have to be completely fill to reduce knock, i've ran on half a tank of meth and it's still 0kr. Can you physically eye the level of meth going down? Also check all connections to and from the pump for leaks.

to lower kr you must run 100% meth to see the best results. going to 100% meth you will be using it as a octane booster.

Why is your car having detonation in the first place? You should get your fuel system and tune in check first. Your car has bigger issues than your W/I system.

Lol, well any car that is tuned via s-afc and running close to 400hp will see a bit of knock. Realtune tuned the car for 93 pump, and I'm running 91 piss gas out here in AZ so the shitty fuel doesn't help.

Anyways, I got around to testing the system by hooking up the line into an empty water bottle, and then doing a few pulls. After the first few pulls, I got out, and the bottle was empty. I found my first problem, which was the 12v wire, not getting power. The connection was bad, so I fixed that and the pump turned on. After 2 more second gear pulls, I did the same thing and now the bottle was about 1/4 full, which shows that it is now spraying. I noticed now that the highest knock I got was about 1.5-2 in 2nd gear, and 3rd gear was giving me about 3-6kr, depending on the rpm of course. I think that my meth content is not great enough. I have 5 bottles of heet, and 3/4 gallon summer blend ww fluid. I think the summer blend doesn't have enough meth in it, so I will be draining the tank and going to get a gallon of the 100% meth pure stuff from a source pretty close.

I will be posting results later on tonight. Let's hope that knock is out of here.

I love meth! Finally got everything sprayong correctly and the results are amazimg... 20psi of boost, 0kr thru redline, holding 25degrees of timing, and afr's in the 10.8's! Car pulls SOOOOOO much better and harder!

If your car is spraying, your IAT sensor will show a significant drop in temps, if the nozzle is placed before it.

OP, sounds like you need more fluid in the tank. With the trunk mount kit its hard to run the pump dry, but if you do, your going to need to siphon it a bit to get fluid into the pump again. The key here is to always keep the tank full.
