That is based on a stoich of 9-10:1 A/F(it depends who you ask and prob because of the different amount of gasoline in winter and summer mixes), so if you have a gasoline calibrated wideband you just need to convert it . All widebands read Lambda, and Stoich of all fuels is Lambda 1, so the A/F is just a multiplier.

So given your info its hard to tell really what A/F value they use. If you figure 10:1 stoich that some use then it would mean for a gasoline calibrated sensor, using E85 you would tune it to: max lean power(8.5/10=.85x14.7)~12.5A/F and rich max power would be (6.5/10=.65x14.7)~9.5A/F. Hence the reason for E85, you can be much richer than gasoline and still make good power. This is much safer and why I said earlier that figure on 40%more fuel for WOT because you will be much safer then you ever have been on gasoline while still making great power.

This may not be worth much, but I have tried some E85 experiments myself. I am running S3 with alot of bolt ons. I tried 4 gallons 92, 4 gallons E85 and it never kicked me out of HOM. The next tank went back to all 92. Next tank after that was 3 gallons E85 to 5 gallons 92 and it still did not kick me out of HOM. I do not have a Knock gauge yet (i know it is bad to not have one) so I can't tell you the difference there. my.02
