I'm wont be getting my new checkvalve until monday. The older style plastic one I had was leaking, which would explain the sudden change in my AFR's under WOT. Is it safe to run it straight from the pump to the nozzle without a check vavle until I get the new one? Thanks

Interesting, because my friend had one and it sucked it all dry...with 12afrs and the car would stay running
my car does suck in some water only when i Dont screw on the tank cap very tightly. It was amazing how much stronger it sprayed without my checkvalve, it was unreal.

The pump has to overcome the checkvalve. If you have a 100 psi pump, then you lose 1/4 of that to the check valve, plus whatever you are boosting.

Ya i know it how works, i just dint realize how much of a difference it made physically with my own eyes. I have the 150psi old school pump but im thinking of upgrading to the 250psi

Not trying to insult. More for everyone than just you, for those who didn't know.
When I ran without a checkvalve, after I turned off the car, the next morning I went out to start it, and all the meth had drained past the pump and into the intercooler pipe, emptying the tank, and making the car undriveable.
Brian, my check valve got something stuck in it and held it open and sucked meth like a Jeff Co dope head. Just cruising around the a/f was 10.0-11.0 on the way home when it happened.
Also Gary didnt put one in on his car and it drank his entire tank in just a few minutes at idle. Thats with d/p of course.
u guys jinxed me, now everytime i go to start my car its sucking up at least a liter of water everytime i start it (good for cleaning my head lol) Who sells the lowest cracking point check valve around?
