Im looking to have it wired up to a LED to let me know when the meth is low. But i dunno which way the lever should move. I will be connecting on wire to ground on pump, and the other will be the ground for a led.

my question is, which was does the lever have to face? Up or down?

by down i mean once meth level drops the lever will hang to the bottom.

by up i mean that while meth level is still above, the lever will be floating up, once it drops below the lever will be even.

i just installed the DVC kit sothe kit has a wire for the float switch. since yours is a different version (using a led) you just wire one side of the float switch to the led. you install the float switch up. so that when you fill it up the switch moves up. when it gets low the switch goes down and the led will illuminate.

Here is a link to the instructions. GreaseMonkey is correct. If u want the LED to light up when your tank is empty, you will want to have the switch float up.
