I'm interested in one of your trunk mount kits, but I'm not sure which one to get. I want to use it to hit 300 hp safely either on pump gas or race gas. And which would be more suitable, the progressive kits or standard?

hello.

The progressive kits are amazing, if its in your budget I would get that, if not I would get the 250 psi trunkmount, atleast then you have the 250 psi pump and you can upgrade to the controller later. Does that make sense?

press the windows KEY and pause break, then Hardware, Device manager. Now scroll through and find proflic USB and see what port is assigned to it.
Properties of the port, then port settings, advanced then you can change the port number. If ur still getting this issue, change the port number and then reload the program and try it again with new port number.

Well the windows key and Pause break should get you back to same spot in vista. Now from there the prolific should be under usb devices. Then follow thee second part of my previous post.

If you cant see what port is assigned to it in the control panel keep trying from port 1 to port 10 until it connects. It is possible for the software to only show 1 port and the real port is not visible to us. I have seen that 1 or 2 times.

if you bought a serial to usb converter it had to come with software. it will not work without software. look in the package, sometimes...most of the time they come with a MINI CD and it can be hidden in the plastic packaging.

If you bought a 9 PIN cable you dont need software with it.

This makes sense. But, is the 250 psi pump overkill for 300 hp? And how do you adjust when to turn the injection on without the progressive controller? Is there some in car thing which allows you to do this? I didn't see one in the contents of the trunkmount kits.
