You know...sometimes I wonder why I even bother attempting to educate you people....
I took what you said and looked at the links. Thanks. We all know you hate Coolingmist...
Actually I dont hate CM...Its the stupidity that gets under my skin.
Any my car has a CM part in it...sad to say aint it?
I was just trying to help you...you asked a question..several times. And he was adamant with his answer....I simply put up a couple links to a thread where people besides ME have run the experiment.
After all....I just go out of my way to pick on CM...right?

You dont have a coolingmist kit. I dont care what experiments you do or anyone else did, it wasn't our product and its not valid to me. Our kits operate as I say they do. Everything I said is 100% fact.
This is why we can have 15 feet of hose after checkvalve on our trunk mount kit and it will inject INSTANTLY from the time the pump gets power (after the first time the tank is full and you pressurize the line) and it shuts off within a split second with Virtually NO leakage. But you will contest that too I am sure.

I wasn't be sarcastic, I really did take your info and read it, and I did mean it when I said thanks for the info. But it's painfully obvious, whether CM "started" this whole controversy or not, that you came in here to pick a fight. You knew David would take the bait, if you didn't want a conflict you should have posted the links and nothing else.
Just installed my new CoolingMist nozle that screws directly into a threaded hole(in my cold side pipe), also have the 90 deg fitting with the new quik-release hose fitting on it.
All I can say, is the new hose fitting is "MONEY!!!" , so simple and so easy to remove.
Thanks again CoolingMist
John,
Thanks alot for your support. I am glad you like our new fittings and design. We will never compromise on quality. No plastic clips or nylon composite body on any of our fittings.
Thanks again and let us know if we can help further.
I currently have the coolingmist Srt trunk mount kit with 150psi pump. I'm going to be pushing around 500whp for now. I currently have a m5 injector, do I need a bigger one? I bought the kit when I was around 450whp. I might end up going over 500whp once I get the car tuned out. Thanks!

If you go just above 500 HP you may want to get our 7-8 GPH nozzle. If you are 450 or under you are on the border but probably ok at 6 GPH.
I need to update this thread. These quotes are all in this thread. I stated that our system would shut off near instantly when the power is turned off and the system would spray near instantly once the power is turned back on. I was clear that would be no delay. Certain people on this forum (below) love to attack everything I have to say. I just want to post video for proof.

Or you can just trust me.

How can you sell WI kits and spew mis-information?
Grifter, I encourage you to perform the expermient.
Here is the video. Make your own decisions. Also I would point out that this is how our current group of kits perform. Other kits on the market may or may not have a long delay and cause this problem. Ours does not:

Well I don't always plan to run 28-30psi on my 60trim, I will have a pump gas tune. Will it be ok to run the 7-8 GPH nozzle at less then 500whp?

I personally dont think you will have any problems running 7 GPH if you are close to 500 HP. If you have 300 HP you would have too much flow for sure.
If you want to try a larger nozzle let me know. If it doesn't work for you I will refund your money.
I can vouche for coolingmist's trunk mount kit stopping the water flow pretty much instantly. When I stopped by their shop to pick up my kit he demonstrated the whole thing to me and showed me how fast the water stops spraying
Oh Cali .... Once again you are full of shit !!! I ran a line from my check valve under the hood , all the way up inside the cabin of the car, to a M3 nozzle on the end.
I just HAD to know how my system was reacting , so I played the Guinea Pig and held that nozzle righ in front of my face , spraying towards the open side window.
Here's what I found out :
The INSTANT the W/I light kicks on at 1 lb of boost , the water starts spraying instantly. The INSTANT the light goes out signaling the pump has stopped .... The water stops spraying instantly.
When you are going down the road at 50 mph with your window open , the water DOES hit you right in the face ...
Here is a picture of our latest kit. We have had so many orders for this kit on this forum that we decided to make it a regular product on our site. Vari-Cool Direct Port Trunkmount kit.
The direct port kit will ship with our high gloss nickel plated low-profile fittings. These fittings will fit flush for a completely integrated look. Turn by hand and then just takes 1/2 turn with a wrench to lock in place. No tefon tape is required, it has an oring to seal against any leak. You can see the fittings on our checkvalve and pump to get an idea of how low profile they are. These are show quality, not just nickel plated but highly polished.
