Is water injection for everyone? I'm Stage 1 right now and am considering Stage 2 w/toys. Should I get W/I for my stage 1 or wait for Stage 2?

Thanks!

There is no question that our systems will benefit you whether you are stock, stage I, II or III. Any boosted vehicle will have great benefits. Does that mean is it for you? You have to decide if the ability to run more boost, more advance timing and more power is good for you at this time.

The more power you are making now, the more you will typically make with our kit. I have yet to hear of anyone with a SRT 4 that is not happy with the results.

Let me know if you have more questions.

What kind of fluids and mix would I want to use? Are they available on the shelf?

Would I be able to install the kit and be done or would it require tuning? I have Stage 1 w/Stage 2 wga and Mopar Catback exhaust. Everything is on stock lines and computer controlled boost.

Thanks again!

Installation of all of our kits are easy. The trunk mount kits are the easiest as you dont have to mount the pump and tank, just strap it down. Our vari-cool unit also has only 4 wires so its real simple.

Tuning is not required to see nice benefits. Its been proven with our kit that your intake sensor will advance timing based on the cold air. However, you will gain the most with tuning.

I think you missed that one. I live in the UK and was wondering if what is recommended is not available what would I want to use as an alternative?

Thanks!

Sorry about that.

50/50 mix of methanol/water tends to be the most popular. you can run denatured alcohol if you cant find methanol.

The VARI-COOL controller kits are capable of 100% methanol if you wish, all of our other kits at this time can run a 50/50 mix.

We recommend that you experiment to find what works best for you as far as a mix. I believe some methanol is good, but 100% water does get good results. You will have to source it from a local chemical manufacturer or from a speed shop.

thanks!

yes you can upgrade your current controller to the Vari-Cool or if you have the base kit you can ditch the relay and other items and use our controller. It can run any device that operates between 7 and 26 volts and that includes all 12V pumps.

Thanks!

You will need to have an LED installed in your car. Hook it to the power and the other end to the NO port of the switch. You can compare to your boost gauge when the switch lights up. Anything else is just a guess.

Thanks!

What do you recommend for a typical 50 trim (in my case t3/t4 DBB) running upgraded fuel and other supporting goodies? I want to run at least 25psi with no problems.

What are the advantages of direct port?

I recommend our controller kit, varicool stage II. I has the ability to let you create custom maps if necessary, but also varies the flow based on your input of boost (or can run in 2d mode boost, AIT or EGT, etc).

With that kind of power and mods you want something that can give you a varied output from min to max.

The direct port is sweet and if you are in serious need of cooling and want to make sure you get equal distribution in each port its the way to go. You can tap the nozzles from the outside of the manifold so its easy to install as well.

Let me know if you have more questions.
