Confused with Devils own pump install

I'm in the process of wiring up my progressive kit. I bought it from a friend so I have no real instructions. On the pump I had the two wires coming out of it (one black,one red) I know black for ground amd red for power. However, on the red wire connects to a terminal on the top of the pump, and the second terminal has a wire coming off of it. See pic.[IMG][/IMG]I took the wire that comes off that terminal (that's what I call it) and connected it to the blue wire on the progressive unit. Was that correct? When I turn the key on the power light comes on, but the pump light is flashing. Thanks

Yes hook up the blue wire of the controller to the loose red wire of the pump.
