the first time you run it it can take 25-30 seconds to prime. Should be instant after that.

Two M5's I believe?

It's funny. I found today, that if I push the throttle to the floor, really hard, it'll kick me out of HOM, too much knock. But if I go full throttle but not 100% to the floor, it'll hold. That probably sounds pretty dumb, but i'll try it again when I go home tonight.

interesting. Your TPS sensor is key, it turns on when > 2.66 volts. It should be greater than 2.66 when you are flooring it. The varicool light goes solid when it injects, so it would blink if its not trying to inject.

Thanks David, I checked my voltage on the scangauge and it's definitely over 2.66 volts at full throttle, and the light is solid. So I assume everything is working. Any other suggestions for curing the knock. It seems like it is off and on, sometimes it will hold with 2 - 3 counts, then the next minute it shoots me out with 5-6KR. I'd probably be satisfied with anything under 2, but no knock is ideal.

and i also found out that when i was doing some pulls with 65%m1 meth, 35%water i was getting 39* of timing till redline on 21lbs of boost with 0kr on my 50 trim : needless to say the sct flash is soon to come. hope you get everything figured out man!

BULLSHIT!

39 degrees of timing with 50 trim at 21 psi.

just not possible at all.... that s pretty much unheard of.

Same deal still, HOM holds as 17ish psi, anymore than that and I get kicked out, or at least get enough knock to make me worry.

Just some ideas. Without actually havin a look-see.
1. Sparkplugs NGK @.028
2. Methanol 60% and distilled water 40%. Just a place to start. Dump the tank of homebrew.
3. make sure the system is staying primed.
good luck.

Where in RI are you? Smithfield area?

Thanks Stealth, I think I am going to pull one of the lines and prime it and make sure it's getting to the nozzles. I am like 90% sure it is, but I just want to know for sure. The tank doesn't seem to be emptying very fast (i suppose this depends how often you actually go above 2.66V on the TPS.

Spark plugs are on the list as well. I tried to get some this weekend but didn't have the park number on me at the time. I have the NDE TCS and I use the 2-step occassionally, so I need to start changing them regularly.

I live in the Warwick / Cranston area.

I don't use that much alky with mine. Maybe a gallon for every 3 -4 tank fulls. If I'm extreamly heavy on the hammer. Then 3/4 gallon per tank full of gas is about my usage.
I had a mitsu at the house a while back similiar symptoms. They bought a kit off of ebay. Was a varicool kit reboxed. Or at least the pump and tank had someone elses stickers on it, and it wasn't coolingmist they bought it from. Was sold/promoted as a dual nozzle kit.
Anyway it turned out the lines from the pump to the nozzles where draining out. Not enough fluid here to kill or trouble the engnie. At the same time as fast as this car went from zero to scarry wasn't enough time for the pump to fill the lines again. Decel/coast and what little was in the lines drained again.
Either the kit directions specified or the installer chose to run two lines from the trunk to the nozzles. I never got a straight answer from the owner. ( I think he did the install)

Oh yeah the fix was just moving his check valve, removing a line, and adding a tee fitting.
May not be your case though.

I have one line coming up from the trunk, then it hits a distribution block near the battery and there are two short lines, one to each nozzle. I checked the amount of fluid in the tank this morning and it did seem like it was lower than before. I am going through the install instructions to make sure I did everything 100% correct. Thanks again Stealth.
