Default Checkvalve issue

Well I installed my meth kit and everything seemed fine, but it was not spraying, pumps works fine, but meth didnt pass the check valve. I took it off and stuck a screw driver in it. It was stuck, but after manually moving it starter moving again. I placed it back on and worked perfectly.

My questions is, will I have sticking issues if I stay with the same check valve? It was brand new so i figured it was why it was stuck. BTW its a cooling mist CV

Hmm i'd probably get a new one to be on the safe side, especially once meth becomes an essential in your tune.

hello.

Your system is drawing in air. Move your pump so its under your tank and gravity fed. its very unlikely that the checkvalve is bad. If you have a priming problem, replacing the checkvalve will do nothing.

By removing the checkvalve you let air out of the system. So it all looks fine. Once you run out of water or draw air in again, its going to stick. Moving the pump so its gravity fed will solve the issue.

I would be cautious. In my experience the only reason they stick is because air gets in the line. 99.5% of the time if you move the pump/tank location this will solve it.

what I suggest is run the tank dry and then fill the tank up. If you do this and you dont have any problem it should be fine, however if you still have the problem you need to move the pump lower. If you need phone help you can call at 888-MORE-HPW.

Sounds like you released trapped air in the pump when you stuck the screw driver in the check valve. The pump can not prime if air is trapped it in (the air has no where to go) = fluid can not get into the pump so as to prime it.
