Default Aquamist + RRWPR?

Ok, here's my latest plan.

I love my Aquamist HFS-5 system. I love the way it mirrors your fuel injector duty cycle, so I always inject the same % of water across the rpm range.

So, now I'm solving a new issue. I'm using a return-line for my fuel, with a rising-rate regulator. Now, I could set my nozzle sizing to a particular boost, which has worked pretty good for me before. However, I'm picky, and want to be exact.

What I'm thinking about doing is setting up a rising-rate pressure regulator on my water injection system. The first obstacle is finding a regulator that's rated to use with both methanol and water. Ultimately, it would be rated up to at least 150 psi, but I'd settle for 125 and using 100 psi as my water base pressure.

right now I'm looking at the FueLab 515 series, although I'm still looking for other options. I'm planning (unless told it won't work) to put the regulator in my engine bay, and run a return-line back to the tank in the trunk.

Thoughts?

Cool idea.
With E85 all the craze I think holly and a few others are producing methanol/Gas-o-hol compliant parts. I can't remember who, I thought it was Holly, sent me a small broshure of thier iodized green components for the new-ish fuel. I know they had carb parts. Not sure about regulators. On the down side I think it was all geared towards low pressure high volume fuel systems. But a regulator is a regulator. If you can change the spring tention and the diaphram can handle it. I surpose you could get the pintle to move at what ever pressure.

On other notes I had some questions about your multiport set-up.
Posted em in another thread but I think I got stepped on and it went unnoticed.
1. what size nozzle in the intake ports?
2. what size line?
3. Have any problems with one nozle acting as a vent and draining the others?
4. How's the weather out there?
Would Apreciate the help Pit.

1. what size nozzle in the intake ports? 0.4mm
2. what size line? Whatever it is Aquamist ships with.
3. Have any problems with one nozle acting as a vent and draining the others? None at all.
4. How's the weather out there? Starting to get hot!

Answers in Red.

Richard, did you ever get a chance to look at that RRR?

I need to do a few things for you if you are going that direction:

1. You need a non-by-pass valve holder.
2. You can run 125psi at atmspher and rasie to ~150psi on boost. The pump is rated for 150psi application.
3. You can fit the RRFPR next to the tank for ease of installation. Obviously things will be better right at the point of delivery.

What boost will be be running? really at 58psi???

As for my turbo, I run 21 psi on pump, and I'm going to tune in 26-28 psi for racing.

Here's a link to the FueLab 515 regulator: FUELAB Digital Fuel Delivery -

I can't tell what regulator is being used in the pictures you posted.

Line at the jets is 4mm. Line to the pump from the tank and from the pump to the flow sensor is 6mm

Hey guys. Thanks for the reply.
I think have some high heat 1/8 tube in the shop somewhere. I may even have 1/16 line. I thinking of using this on the intake runner nozzles.

Hate to be a bother (no I don't) but would anyone have a flow rating at 100 psi on those 0.4mm nozzles.

In the end I may just have the AMC of WI systems. Let's hope it compairs better that to the Pacer

Thanks Again.
John
