can someone please explain to me in a short version what it will do to my car and how much it will increase power and how it works? is it always runnin or do i flip a switch and its on? and other things as well like will it lower my cars engine life and is it dangerous, can i use it with pretty much every mod out in the market??

giving your car meth for extended periods of time can cause addiction.... just take some time and read the section and the stickies and other threads...
ive read the stickies but what im askin is for simple answers to the questions i asked cuz the stickies go too much in depth. haha. and im also askin about the AEM kit in general is it a good kit or are there better ones?
denser air temp, lower egt temps, steam cleans internals, run higher boost levels safely, not familiar with aem...i know pwerks carries it....you could post in their section about it..there are different ways to control it, progressive controller, pressure switch..etc..i wouldnt say its dangerous, i used one on my mr2 turbo as a cheaper alternative to a better intercooler..coolingmist, devils own, snow...all good kits..
Its cools intake temperatures and adds octane. like having a higher octane gas.
Depending on how you set up your kit, it is usually activated by boost pressure, when the controller sees x psi it turns on, some of them inject progressively more as the boost comes on. Many people also set them up so that they only inject at wide open throttle by wiring into the tps sensor in addition to boost pressure. If you wanted to you could wire a button in to activate the meth kit. I have mine set up so it is only activated when i push the intercooler sprayer button, the blue led comes on to let me know it's activated, then it starts injecting based on boost pressure and the tps voltage.
On the MoPar stage kits some of them come with turbo toys and they have a button for the intercooler sprayer. I figured the intercooler sprayer would be pointless with meth so I didn't put it on and modified the button to be an on/off for the meth.
