Started piecing together on my fuel system online. Looking to get a 1 gallon surge tank to mount in the batterys stock location. I've only briefly googled it...but where would I order a surge tank at lol. I wouldn't mind the passenger fender location either...just figured the stock battery location would be more secure incase of front end collision.

Would a small 1 gallon race cell fit your needs? Thats the cheapest solution that I came across.

That's what I use. 1 gal aluminum fuel cell from summit racing. However, the cap seal will not hold up well if you use e85. I had my cap hole welded shut.

1 gallon is plenty, and yes I plan to use e85. I didn't know Summit carried stuff like that, guess I shoulda looked there first lol. I plan to have -6an from tank, -6an return to tank, -6an return from regulator and -8an feed to a bosch 044 -8an to rail.

I think you're talking about this one: RCI Racing 2010A - RCI Aluminum Fuel Cells - Overview - SummitRacing.com - did you mount that in the passenger fender area?

That's exactly right. I had one more filling welded on and a frail welded in.
Here's and old picture. It's cluttered, and doesn't look good, but works.

It's not too bad if you get the one without the pump and source your own 044 elsewhere. You can usually find them new from $150-180 if you look around.

Well, I went ahead and ordered that CX Racing one Masat03 is using. Ordered a bunch of fittings from Summit, placed order for a Jay Racing Pro Series 044 today, Denso 1200cc injectors as well as a bunch of other little stuff...hopefully this build will be promising!
