okay so i am running my own custom fuel system, and i am planning on hard wiring an external fuel pump to a switch. now will the computer trip balls if i take out the fuel pump relay? and tuning, i will be using a safc, does tuning through the safc have anything to do with the fuel pump of does it just reduce the injectors duty cycle?? thanks for the help

The PCM does't care about the fuel pump, but I would strongly suggest using the same pump relay single wire from the PCM to energize your new fp relay.

Use the 12v DarkBlue/White wire and the Brown PCM ground to energize your relay. Be sure to keep the 15a fuse
