is there any way to bypass the stock fpr? would the stage 3 fuel rail be able to regulate on its own, if you did do this? and would you need a return line to do this. these questions might sound dumb but im quite the noob.if this isnt possible anybody got any good ideas, ps i dont have alot of money. thanks for any help
58psi at the FPR (at the tank). 1 to 1 rising rate at the rail.
The only way to bypass the stock FPR is to get a return line, and any fuel rail other than the Stage 3 rail. You can get the AGP returnline and use any stock fuel rail and set the static pressure at 58, then hook a boost source to it for a 1 to 1 rising rate.
you can easily bypass the stock FPR. PTP makes this mod and allows you to run higher pressure. This is only able to happen with the the s3 rail because it is internally regulated. You can also run a return as well its up to you. I would suggest doing a return and a bottleneck fix it will be much easier to regulate pressure. I used the PTP and had no problems on stage 3. good luck !
Why you say that? Just curious as I'm trying to help a friend (guy who bought my car actually) put a S3 kit in the car again and the S3 fpr is gone from the kit.
